Here’s a great piece about us that ran in Philadelphia Weekly yesterday:
‘It’s clear that we’re the chosen ones/ We got eight days, you got just one/ It’s good to be a Jew at Christmas!’ Immortal words, those. Good for the Jews, the duo founded by Rob Tannenbaum, are bringing their Chanukah/Hanukkah holiday tour to Philly, and begging the question: Is it Chanukah or Hanukkah? Or Chanukkah or Hanukah? And how did this get so out of hand in the first place? Tannenbaum, star of VH1’s So Jewtastic, is joined by David Fagin, lead vocalist of the Rosenbergs, for a night of blissful irreverence—the kind that always sounds best around the holidays. It’s music meets standup comedy at its finest, and despite the band’s name, it’s good for everyone. Good for the Jews’ musical interpretations of Jewish life have been called “hilarious” from coast to coast. What better way to celebrate the third night of Chanukah/Hanukkah/ Chanukkah/Hanukah? L’chaim!
